BANDIPORA: Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir Range Mohammad Suleman Chaudhary on Friday visited district Bandipora to review preparedness for forthcoming DDC/Panchayat elections. He was accompanied by DIG CRRF Anees Feroi.
The meeting was attended by SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik, Commandant IR 21th Bn Shabir Nawab, CO 3rd BN, CO 45th BN CRPF and other Police/CRPF officers at DPL Bandipora.
At the onset of the meeting, SSP Bandipora gave a detailed presentation regarding the security scenario of the district and measures put in place by police for conducting peaceful forthcoming DDC/Panchayat elections.
The DIG NKR directed the officers to strengthen the security grid and plug the gaps with strict security measures.
He also appreciated the efforts of Bandipora police in combating the coronavirus and maintaining law and order in the district.
