DGPC condemns ceasefire violation by Pakistan

JAMMU: District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (DGPC) condemned the violation of ceasefire by the Pakistan in which large number of civilians and their cattle’s injured, expired and a big loss of property of people of the border areas.
Talking to reporters, Avtar Singh Khalsa, DGPC member said that In the firing large scale of crops also damaged which is ready for the harvesting. He demanded compensation to the suffered people.
A part from the compensation, Khalsa demanded that there should be a separate ward in GMC Hospital with the specialist doctors for the treatment to injure in the across border firing.
He also demanded that government should provide the combine machines for the harvesting the paddy crops in the border area. Khalsa said that farmers are ready to pay the charges of harvesting but Government should provide the insurance cover to the combine machines and there operators for the any loss during the harvesting by the firing across the border.
He also appreciated the befitting reply by over troops to the Pakistan.
