RS PURA: Member Legisl-ative Assembly (MLA)R.S Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat conducted an extensive tour of R.S Pura Constituency and inspected pace of various ongoing developmental works in the border Constituency.
During his tour, the MLA visited the Villages of Phinder ,Gazipur Kullian, Kirpind, Makhanpur Gujran Chak Bala, Kalyana Gagian, R.S Pura and Dhindey Kalan and inspected various works including roads, inaugurated Rs.5 lakh developmental work at village Indiranagar under Convergence Scheme of C.D.S with MGNREGA which was a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the village and started developmental works at village Phinder, Gagian and Kalyana Plots where amount of Rs. 12 lakh, Rs. 2 lakh and Rs.4 lakh respectively will be spent through various schemes including CDS, MGNREGA, Convergence and BADP.
The works were very important as the area where these were started has been constantly overlooked by the previous Govt. on one or other reason. The villagers hailed the sincere efforts of Dr.Gagan. Taking a dig on the opposition parties he said that such type of development will be an appropriate answer to their criticism.
While giving details of the developmental works started by the present Coalition Government, Dr. Gagan informed that the 10 km road taken up for macadamisation is not the end and it is the beginning and in the coming one and a half year he will macadamise all the roads falling under R.S Pura Constituency. The legislator also announced the up gradation of Keer Pind to Laswara Road under City Road Fund, along with Rathana Morh to Salehar Road and the work will be started very soon within next three weeks.
He was accompanied by the XEn PWD Rajan Mengi, AEE PWD Anil Sahni, BDO Miran Sahib Naresh Kumar, EO R S Pura Jodhraj, BRO Officials, SDPO R S Pura Surinder Singh, SHO R S Pura Bhushan Manhas, BJP Mandal Pradhan Miran Sahib Devendra Sharma, Natha-ram, Inder Sudan, Omprak-ash, Avtar Singh, Gurdeep Saini and Rajesh Babbu.
