POONCH : A deputation of Christian community led by Nunna Gill met the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch Mohammad Hussain Malik and said that the community’s grave yard has been washed away during the floods and that they should be given separate land for burial of the bodies.
The DDC gave a patient hearing to the deputation and asked the Assistant Commissioner Revenue and Tehsildar Poonch to identify the land and submit a report. He assured the community that efforts will be made to find out the suitable place.
Those present in the deputation include Romesh Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Anil Sharma and Muni Lal.
