Dental Supervisor booked for using fake certificate to get job

JAMMU: Crime Branch Jammu registered a case against one Karan Singh Dental Supervisor, who got job on fake dental certificate.
According to the Crime Branch Jammu, a communication made by the Deputy Registrar, State Vigilance Commission, J&K, Srinagar enclosed with the copy of the complaint, reply submitted by J&K Dental Council and findings of the Commission was received in the Crime Branch for conducting detailed investigation into the matter.
Perusal of the complaint, reply submitted by the J&K Dental Council and findings of the Commission have revealed that the complainant Dr. Karan Singh Pawar had filed a complaint before the State Vigilance Commission alleging therein that he being a qualified Dentist B-Category and already registered with the J&K State Dental Council since the year 1998 had applied for renewal for his registration in the year 2005 but the same was not been done. During the course of hearing of the said complaint, as per the reply obtained by the State Vigilance Commission from the J&K State Dental Council it was revealed that last registration number allotted by the Council to Part-B Dentists was B-111 and the registration was thereafter, closed by the government with effect from 1st June 1977 vide order dated 12th January 1990 upon which the Commission while observing that the registration number B-3089 mentioned on the certificate of the complainant was, prima facie, fake referred the matter to the Crime Branch for conducting in-depth investigation.
On the receipt of these documents, a preliminary verification was initiated in Crime Branch, Jammu and during the course of verification it was found that one Karan Singh Pawar, son of Krishan Singh, resident of Ward No. 8 Akhnoor District, Jammu who was working as a Dental Supervisor in Primary Health Centre Bhalwal had, in connivance with some other persons prepared/procured a fake and fabricated Dental Registration Certificate Category “B” bearing registration number B-3089 and had used the same in order to seek its renewal and even had filed a complaint in order to cheat and seek illegal benefits through fraudulent means and the omissions and commissions, therefore, on the part of Karan Singh Pawar and some other persons Crime Branch prima facie, constituted offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC.
