LEH: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Leh, Simrandeep Singh gave details regarding the polling schedule for Assembly elections, 2014 in Leh District.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, Simrandeep said that Ladakh will be covered in the first phase which includes Leh, Nubra, Zanskar and Kargil constituencies.
He said for Leh District, the date of issuance of notification is 28th October, last date of making the nominations is 5th November, date of scrutiny is 7th November, while the last date for withdrawal is 10th November and data of poll is 25th November.
He said that a toll free number will be made available round the clock for proper registration of complaints and their redressel.
He also appraised about the dispatch of polling parties, first level checking of EVM machines, storing of EVMs, videography and CCTV recording of election events and other election related details.
