MENDHAR: Four children among 11 members of a family were injured on Saturday when an LPG cylinder exploded.
Sources said when one of the family member ignited a match stick to light the stove the blast took place as the kitchen was filled with leaked gas resulting all of the family members receiving burn injuries.
All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar but due to their serious condition, they were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
The injured were identified as Arfan Ahmed (17) son of Farooq Khan, Mohd Arif (26) son of Allha Ditta 26, Mohd Bashrit (24)son of Allha Ditta, Rakhmat Jaan (60) wife of Allha Ditta, Parvaiz Akhter (40) wife of Zaffar Iqbal, Nargis Kouser (15) daughter of Farooq Khan, Zahida Kousar (20) daughter of Allha Ditta, Liqyat Ali (25) son of Sher Khan, Sheriyat Ali (12) son of sher khan, Shabaz Kousar (10) daughter of Sher Khan and Nazma Kouser daughter of Sher Khan.
