JAMMU: Scientists and their families of CSIR-IIIM, Jammu celebrated Diwali with Border Security Force (BSF), HQ Palora Jammu and CRPF, HQ, Bantalab, Jammu. In wake of recent ceasefire violation by Pakistan at International Border in J and K due to which loss of lives of brave soldiers, a two-minute silence was observed and tributes was paid by lighting up candles in their memories. Mukesh Kumar, Dy Comndt, BSF and Scientist of CSIR -IIIM, Jammu Dr Shashank Singh, Dr G.D Singh and Surjeet Singh addressed the Jawans. Sweets were offered to them. Dr. Ram Vishwakarma, Director, CSIR-IIIM, encouraged scientists to celebrate Diwali with jawans. Later, Scientists and their families visited CRPF, HQ, Bantalab, Jammu, and celebrated Diwali with them.
