REASI : The Reasi Police on Wednesday arrested a policeman at Nomain Police Check Post with 80 pouches of liquor which he was carrying towards Katra for sale in the holy town.
At around 10:00 PM on Tuesday a motorcycle bearing registration No JK02BF-9403 was stopped at Police Check Post Nomain which was on its way to Katra. During checking the police recovered 80 Poly pouches of liquor of 250 ml each.
The police seized the motorcycle and arrested the motorcyclist identified as Constable Ajay Kumar Belt No 682 of IR 7th Battalion Jammu.
The accused police cop was booked under FIR 134/16 section 48(a) Excise Act at Police Station Katra.
