Congress to stage protest over Uttarakhand issue

JAMMU: State Congress unit on Saturday decided to hold a series of protests in all over the State, as part of the national programme of the Party over the issue of Uttrakhand, wherein the duly elected Congress Government was destabilized and dismissed, imposing President’s rule in violation of democratic norms.
In this regard, a meeting of senior functionaries of PCC was held under the chairmanship of JKPCC President, G.A Mir in which latest political situation in the state besides organizational activities were discussed.
Mir disclosed that central leadership would take stock of the overall situation on 9th April both in Jammu and Srinagar. The meeting deliberated upon the current State of affairs in the state.
Among those who attended the meeting include Senior Vice President Sham Lal Sharma, CLP leader, Leader Upper House Jugal Kishor Sharma (MLC) Vice Presidents- Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, G.M Saroori, Kanta Bhan, Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma Co-Treasure Rajnesh Sharma, Dr Manohar Lal Yogesh Sawhney, Shabir Khan, Manjeet Singh, S.S Channi, Th Manmohan Singh, Shah Nawaz Chowdhary, Faqir Nath, Namrta Sharma, President JKPYC Pranav Shagotra and Neeraj Kundan.
