JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and contesting candidate from Jammu East constituency, Yudhvir Sethi on Thursday slammed the National Conference (NC) and Congress for allegedly pushing Pakistan’s agenda in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sethi pointed out that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister has admitted that Pakistan is actively supporting the NC and Congress in their demand for the restoration of Article 370 in J&K. He emphasized that this revelation unveils the NC and Congress as mere instruments of Pakistan, orchestrating efforts to undermine peace and progress in the region. He argued that their persistent efforts to reinstate Article 370 not only destabilize the region but also betray the local population’s aspirations for development, security, and a prosperous future.
“By aligning with Pakistan’s agenda, these parties are compromising the sovereignty and integrity of our nation,” he said and criticized their actions as a direct threat to India’s unity and called for a halt to their attempts to propagate Pakistan’s narrative in Jammu and Kashmir.
The senior BJP leader strongly warned both parties to desist from running Pakistan’s narrative in the region, calling their actions a direct threat to the sovereignty and integrity of India. He urged both parties to cease their efforts in promoting Pakistan’s narrative in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sethi also cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant against such opportunistic political parties. He emphasized that the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to ensuring the welfare and development of the region.
He appealed to the people to stand united and support the BJP in its mission to transform Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring peace, stability, and prosperity for future generations. “Let us work together to build a new Jammu and Kashmir, free from the shadows of divisive politics and external influences,” he urged.
He emphasized that while the NC and Congress continue to align with external agendas, the BJP remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare and development of the region. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP’s mission is to ensure the region’s progress, stability, and prosperity.
