BANI: The monthly meeting of Congress workers and prominent Congress leaders of Bani and Dugan Block was held at Bani under the leadership of Rajnesh Sharma(Mian) Sr. Congress Leader on Tuesday.
The prominent Congress leaders along with a large number of people from both the blocks participated in the meeting. Youth Congress leaders of Bani Roshan Lal and Darshan Lal highlighted the problems of local people that the relief given to the flood effected people is not sufficient and appealed to the Govt. to increase the amount of flood relief for the people who lost their crops and houses in the rain.
They also appreciated the Govt. for free ration for six months in the flood affected areas. They also demanded that the paid ration may also be available so that the people could purchase that on Govt. rates.
Rakesh Gupta the local Congress leader appealed to the Congress High Command that the mandate of Bani Constituency may be given to Rajnesh Sharma(Mian).
Rajnesh Sharma(Mian) while speaking in the meeting thanked the people for participating in the meeting and assured that their problems and demands will be taken up with concerned department/ ministry for redressal.
Hans Raj Padha , Hazi Rashid, Mohd. Rafiq, Mushtak Ahmed, Barbalu Ram , Hardev ,Kikar Singh , Sanesh Kumar, Afsal Khan, Dalip Singh and Sham Lal also participated in the meeting .
