INDERWAL: Vice President J and K PCC, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori on Sunday launched membership drive in Inderwal Constituency asking cadre to go on a vigorous campaign to strengthen and expand secular and progressive space in the constituency.
Saroori who is also MLA from Inderwal Constituency, asked the Congress workers to enroll members who are committed to the ideology and principles of the party and laid special emphasis on youth, women, and other downtrodden sections of the society.
Saroori urged Congress cadres in the Inderwal constituency to go on a vigorous membership drive of the party in order to strengthen and expand the secular, progressive and democratic space in the constituency.
People of Kahara, Bhalessa, Bhatyas, Jakyas, Bathri and adjoining areas have demanded electricity to the remaining un-electrified villages of the areas and scarcity of water.
Prominent Congress leaders, workers, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Youth Congress and people in large were present.
