POONCH: To increase animal productivity and to advise and inform the animal owners about issues pertaining to animals, Animal Husbandry Department under the supervision of Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), Dr Mohammad Ismail organised a treatment cum fertility camp at Loran where number of animals were treated for repeated breeding and infertility disorders.
A team of doctors explained in detail the livestock managerial practices during extreme climates and
natural calamities. The farmers were advised to adopt dairy and poultry farm on commercial basis.
