The One Rank, One Pension (OROP) is still awaited. The PM had promised to implement OROP in the run-up to the General Election. But it remains a dream for the veterans who are falling one by one. Modi spoke for one hour from the ramparts of the Red Fort on 15th August, but not a word regarding OROP was spoken. Let’s hope he does something in the matter soon.
