CISF personnel save precious life by giving CPR to passenger

NEW DELHI: CISF personnel saved a precious life by giving CPR to a passenger at Ghitorni Metro Station in New Delhi on Monday.
At about 0930 hrs, a passenger later identified as Bharat Bhusan, aged about-50 yrs, resident of Mansa, Punjab, while travelling with his daughter towards Huda City Centre felt sick inside the metro due to suffocation.
Train Operator informed the matter to the Station Controller of Ghitorni Metro Station who in-turn informed the matter to Shift In-charge of CISF Sub-Inspector S K Yadav.
Immediately, Yadav along with Station Controller rushed to platform level and de-boarded the said passenger.
The health of the passenger deteriorated and he become unconscious.
Constable Ratan Prasad Gupta of CISF surveillance and intelligence team, who was present at the spot, immediately started giving Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the passenger observing all precautionary measures.
Thereafter, the passenger regained his senses.
Immediately, ambulance was called and the passenger was sent to Max Hospital, Saket along with his daughter for further medical assistance.
Due to timely action by CISF personnel, a precious life was saved.
