Chering Dorjey visits Khaltse, inspects development works

LEH: Minister for Ladakh Af-fairs and Cooperatives Chering Dorjey Lakrook started two-day visit to Khaltse Sub-Division to address the public grievances and take stock of the on-going developmental works. He laid the foundation stone at Achinathang for construction of nine kilometers road from Achinathang to Achinathang Lungba being constructed under Union Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways at a sanctioned cost of Rs. 8.39 crore. He also visited villages Baldes, Baima, Hanu Gongma, Hanu Thang, Achinathang and Warsedho. Villagers at various players apprised the Minister about the problems and issues being faced by them. Earlier, Councillor Phuntsog Stanzin detailing about the conditions of his constituency raised the demands of the villagers for an early redressal.
