Dear Editor,
After a decade, the Congress emerged victorious with a big margin and the Captain has been entrusted with the responsibility of steering the ship of governance. The Congress in its manifesto made a bunch of promises, but to fulfil them is not a cakewalk. India is one of the most corrupt countries. Politicians are immersed in their aggrandisement rather than state welfare. It will be interesting to see how the Captain manages to put in order the sorry state of affairs in Punjab.
