JAMMU: Crime Branch on Tuesday produced Challan before the Sub Judge Jammu against four accused persons for executing fake and fictitious General Power of Attorney.
According to report, a case vide FIR No. 01/2013 under Sections 419, 420, 423, 465, 466, 467, 468, 406, 201 and 120-B RPC was registered with Crime Branch, Jammu on January 16, 2013 on a written complaint lodged by one Deep Kumar, son of Manohar Lal, resident of 132 Bahu Fort, Jammu with the Sub-Registrar (3rd Additional Munsiff) Jammu which was endorsed by CJM, Jammu under Section 156 (3) Cr. P.C alleging therein that he is the owner in possession of land measuring 7 Kanals falling under Khasra Nos. 1176 min, 1177 min and 810 min situated at Village Chawadi District Jammu. On May 29, 2012, the complainant came to know that accused Amit Goel, son of Romesh Chander Goel, resident of 239/4, Channi Himmat, Jammu and Shashi Kumar alias Makhnu, son of Nanak Dass, resident of Barain Vijaypur in Samba executed fake and fictitious irrevocable General Power of Attorney in the Court of 3rd Additional Munsiff (Sub-Registrar) by impersonation in connivance with other accused namely Majid Farid Shapoo, son of Farid Ahmed Shapoo, resident of Village Pasri, Bhadarwah, at present Vidhata Nagar Bathindi, Jammu and Gulzar Ahmed (Now expired), son of Late Mohammad Sultan resident of Nai Basti Ramban, at present H. No 30, Housing Colony Janipur Jammu, the then Nazir of the Court of 3rd Additional Munsiff (Sub-Registrar) Jammu.
During investigation offences were established against the aforesaid accused persons. Consequently, Deputy SP Crime Branch, Jammu Shwetambri Sharma, presented challan before the court of Sub Judge Jammu.
