Reasi: Chaladh Volleyball Club lifted trophy of inter-village volleyball tournament organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara, here on Saturday.
In the final played today, Chaladh Volleyball Club defeated Kunalagala volleyball by 3-2 (26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 17-25 and 18-16). Practically both teams were neck to neck for the first few minutes of the game, as its significance and final outcome prompted the players to make calculated moves.
Twelve teams from the villages of Talwara, Chaladh, Kunalagala, Hansawali Gali, Shikari, Barakh and adjoining villages participated in the weeklong tournament, Defence Spokesperson, S.D Goswami said.
