CEO Shrine Board inspects facilities for pilgrims

KATRA: Jitendra Kumar Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, inspected the ongoing development works and other facilities for pilgrims at Bhawan, Bhaironji Temple, Sanjichhat and Adhkuwari. These include upcoming passenger ropeway between Bhawan and Bhairon Temple, accommodation facilities, medicare, water and power supply, lockers, sanitation and cleanliness.
During day long visit, the CEO also interacted with the staff of the Shrine Board at Bhawan and Bhaironji Temple as part of the programme to hold interaction with the staff working on the track and at various other locations to address their difficulties. He was accompanied by a team of officers of the Board comprising Anshul Garg, Additional CEO; Dr. Arvind Karwani, Dy. CEO; Jagdish Singh, SDM Bhawan; Duni Chand, Tehsildar Bhawan; P. C Tanoch, Executive Engineer and other concerned officers and engineers.
The CEO lauded the efforts made by the officers and staff of the Board to ensure facilitation of pilgrims visiting the Holy Cave Shrine. He felicitated some of the Safai Karamcharis and other employees as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performance and devotion to duty and presented to them mementos comprising certificates and commemorative coins.
The staff briefed the CEO about the various personnel and professional issues and also presented to him their demands. These, interalia, pertained to pay fixation, promotions, organising of more such interaction sessions, etc. The CEO interacted with the staff with regard to their personal related matters and welfare initiatives for Safai Karamcharis and other staff. He issued on the spot directions to the concerned to ensure time bound disposal of personal matters of the employees and addressing other demands projected by them.
Among those who participated in the interaction programme included a number of Safai Karamcharis and other staff of the Board posted in the area.
