JAMMU: State Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackery Chief urged Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to take concrete steps to restore peace and normalcy in the State in general and Kashmir Valley in particular.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Dimpy Kohli said only meetings with Home Minister and Prime Minister cannot restore peace in the Valley. He said Central and State Government must take concrete steps to restore peace and normalcy.
He said that people are seeing that for the last so many days, State and Central Government officials are organising high level meeting to discuss the present Kashmir situation but the ground situation is totally different.
“On daily basis people are dying and security personnel are facing tough time to tackle agitating mob whereas on the other hand State and Central Government is organising meetings and nothing concrete is coming out of all these meetings which is a matter of grave concern,” he said.
Kohli emphasised said that BJP Government in the Centre had imposed Governor’s rule in Arunachal Pradesh and also in Uthrakhand but in J and K case the BJP led Centre has adopted double standard.
Shiv Sena strongly criticised Modi and Mehbooba Governments for not tackling J and K situation wisely.
