CAPD warns strict action against erring dealers

KATHUA: Taking cognisance of the complaints that the dealers of District Kathua engaged in the distribution of food-grains/sugar/K-oil are violating the rules/directives by not displaying the lists of BPL and AAY families and sign boards containing the information with regard to name of the depot/sale rate of commodities/stock position/scale of ration, the Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) has directed all the Dealers (ration as well as kerosene) of district Kathua to adhere to the rules and regulations governing the field, within ten days positively failing which stern action shall be taken against the defaulters which may also result in suspension/cancellation of the license
