JAMMU: An exhibition on Social Studies was held in Brigadier Khuda Baksh Memorial Public Higher Secondary School, Gujjar Colony, here on Friday.
In this exhibition, students from 1st to 10th classes took part. Participants prepared models on various topics such as First War of Independence of 1857, India under British Rule, Means of Transport of Ancient and Modern World, Volcanoes, Map of India, French Revolution, Banking System etc.
Students participated in the exhibition with zeal and enthusiasm. models, charts, presentations, surveys, reports etc were submitted to the Social Study Department of the School.
Principal of the School, S.K Ali emphasised over practical implementation of theoretical knowledge.
On this occasion Shoukat Javed, Administrator, Pranav Jha, HoD Social Study Gurvinder Kour, Sabha Paul, Khalida Parveen, Supinder Kour, H.K Verma, Mohammad Arshi and Aneesh Kour were present.
