Dear Editor,
The Central Government had specifically allotted funds to the J and K Government under the Border Area Development Project for the construction of hostels for border students in Jammu and other cities to enable students to pursue studies without interruption. This scheme should be sincerely implemented to impart quality education to border children.
This responsibility should be shared by the civil administration and Commanding Officers of units deployed at the border or along the LoC.
