KATHUA : The BJP activ-ists and the number of border people in the meeting held at Kathua on Thursday conveyed their thanks for the efforts of Dr Jatinder Singh MoS PMO for allowing a compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to the victims of cross border firing. It was told in the meeting that efforts are being made by the party and MoS PMO Dr Jatinder Singh to pursue the demand for giving land to the border people where they could construct houses and shift during emergency. Prominent am-ong those present in the meeting included Prem Nath Dogra, District Pres-ident Kathua, Rashpal Verma Vice Chairman OBC, Tha-kur Ranjit Singh, Ashok Jasrotia, Sham Singh and Shashipal Sharma.
