SRINAGAR: Anantnag police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
On a specific information, a police party of Police Station Achabal led by SHO Achabal raided a Kiryana Shop of Ghulam Qadir, son of Late Mohammad Assan, resident of Shangus and recovered 22 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession. A case FIR number 60 under section 48/50 Excise act was registered against him and further investigation was taken up.
