Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities including Madhur Bhandarkar, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor have given the upcoming film “Piku” a thumbs up and hailed the performances of the main cast Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irffan Khan.
The slice of life film, directed by Shoojit Sircar, is about a young girl Piku (Deepika) and her relationship with her ageing father (Bachchan) and Irrfan is the mediator of sorts between the two.

Director Anubhav Sinha said he had mixed feelings after watching the film.
