JAMMU: To celebrate the Guru Ravi Dass’ 641st Birth Anniversary and to promote the traditional folk culture of J and K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented Musical Play ‘Kathothi Main Ganga’ at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur.
V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity was the Chief Guest while R.P Amla, Event Director was the Guest of Honour.
The play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and the music was given by Master Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor.
Those who performed in the play include Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Bodh Raj, Chahat Chadha, K.K Joshi, Hem Raj, T.R Karnal, M.C Kotwal, Deevam Jandiyal, Rahul Raina, Sharda, Muneeb, Mukesh Arora, Darshan Rajwal, Deepanshu Wedhera, Rahul Kumar, Rafiq, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma and Druv Pandit. Programme Coordinator, Master Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks.
