SRINAGAR: Black Bulls Anantnag bagged the trophy in the District Rugby Championship which was organised by Anantnag District Rugby Association at Government (Boys) Degree College Ground, Anantnag.
In the final, Black Bulls defeated Black Caps Anantnag 2-1. The Junior boys title went to Kashmir Tigers, who beat Anantnag XI 1-0. Similarly, the girls’ final won by Red Queens, who beat Yellow Princess side 3-0.
In all, 18 teams took part in this competition held on knock out basis. In the finals and valedictory function, Secretary, J and K State Sports Council, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra was Chief Guest, who gave away the title trophies and other individual prizes. The event was sponsored by the J and K State Sports Council.
