JAMMU: In an impressive function in Ward-66, Lower Roop Nagar, Janipur, Jammu North Constituency presided over by JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including former Ministers Mula Ram and Yogesh Sawhney, District Rural President Hari Singh Chib, IYC General Secretary Uday Bhanu Chib, Corporator Rajani Bala, former Corporator Uttam Singh Chib. NC Ward President Mamta Khajuria and other National Conference (NC) workers joined the Congress party during the event. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Hoshyar Singh, Anirudh Sawhney, Payal Chopra and others. Bhalla said that it is the duty of the people to fight the forces that are hell bent on taking the country towards autocracy. He stated that the people of J&K are well aware of fact that Congress Party have always stood for interests of the country and never hesitated to make sacrifices. He said it was the Congress alone that would deliver justice to poor, marginalized, minorities and other downtrodden sections of society. He called upon the people of J&K to sought their support in forming the Congress government with an “overwhelming majority”. Mula Ram and Yogesh Sawhney said that Congress Party worked for decades to foster social tranquility, brotherhood by uniting people in tried to make people submit to the nation.
Hari Singh Chib said that BJP made tall promises during the election campaigns and now finding it different to fulfill those problems.
