BJP shamelessly sharing power with those whom it terms as ‘anti-nationals’: Harsh
BJP-NC alliance partners in LAHDC Kargil

JAMMU: “The BJP stands exposed and completely unmasked for its treachery and duplicitous character yet again as it continues to share power with NC in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil despite rebuking the latter all over the country and describing it as the ‘Gupkar Gang’. While it wants all other political parties and the people to sever their connections with NC for “acting against the national interests” it shamelessly continues to be an alliance partner with National Conference in the LAHDC, Kargil only to share the fruits of power. Not only that it continued the said alliance despite Farooq’s nasty outbursts seeking support of China for restoration of Art 370 in J&K. Will the “Andh-bhakts” now open their eyes to the naked reality and see the real character and actual face of BJP concealed by it behind its deceptive facades”, questioned Singh.
He was speaking while leading a protest against BJP alongwith Yash Paul Kundal and a huge contingent of NPP.
Accusing the BJP of faking nationalism only to promote its political prospects, Singh said that its overzealous, loud mouthed opportunist leaders could go to any extent to reap the fruits of power. But now they stand fully exposed. Their makeup has come off thereby revealing them in their true colors. These self styled patriots have been using nationalism merely as a political stunt, a survival mantra, an electoral trump card. And this fact has been proved time and again. People still remember how they embraced PDP after having denounced its leadership as anti-national. Its their govt which released 11,000 stone-pelters, framed schemes for rehabilitation of militants, offered Jobs to gun wielding youth, announced scholarships for wards of militants, registered FIRs against army and denied ex-gratia to martyrs and other victims of militancy”, rued Harsh. Expressing dismay over the duplicitous character of BJP, Singh said that while it continued to describe the NC and its associates in the “Peoples Alliance” as inimical to the interests of the nation, it persisted with its alliance with the National Conference in Kargil by supporting the LAHDC headed by a NC leader. Accusing the BJP of pseudo nationalism and political debauchery, Singh said that such unconscionable bargains had completely unmasked the BJP as a lustful, power hungry party which could surrender its each fundamental for power sake. He appealed the public to teach a lesson to the BJP at the hustings and knock it out completely in DDC polls.
