BJP flags off party Vistaraks for LS elections to different areas

JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, flagged off party Vistaraks (whole timers) for upcoming Lok Sabha elections to different areas of J&K, on Sunday, from BJP headquarters, here.
Ashok Koul, General Secretary (org), J&K BJP, accompanied by Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha) and Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary & former Minister, and Vistarak Yojna Incharge Pawan Sharma, flagged off a group of Vistaraks for Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency, who will reach up to booth levels.
Prominent leaders among those present on the occasion included BJP State Office secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, former VC Balbir Ram Rattan, Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Jammu District President Parmod Kapahi, Inderjeet Sharma, Rajinder Singh Chib, Raj Singh Langeh and others.
Ashok Koul, while speaking on the occasion, said that the first batch of Vistaraks is being flagged off for the Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency and a similar group will be deputed for the Kathua-Udhampur constituency in a day or two. Their main task is to stay in a particular area, contact the local leaders, take stock of the organizational set-up, check the voter lists, and perform all other activities related to the election campaigning till the date of counting of votes.
Ashok Koul further said that the party relies on its full-time workers to streamline organizational issues, help identify areas that need attention and aid in strengthening the party’s presence at the booth level. He also praised the party whole-timers for their dedication in carrying out the party activities at the ground level even in the remotest regions.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Vistaraks will reach up to the ground level and work in connivance with other party activists to fill up any gap that is still left behind. He said that these party Vistaraks will ensure that the good decisions and unprecedented development of the Modi government reach up to the public and gets converted to record number of votes.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal asked the Vistaraks to undertake extensive touring and reach out to every Booth-level worker and engage them for groundwork, keeping in view the approaching Parliamentary elections.
Pawan Sharma asked the Vistaraks to increase their activities in their respective constituencies through their movement.
