JAMMU: Continuing the ongoing drive of empowering economically backward girl students, Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) on Wednesday distributed books, stationery, furniture items and water cooler to the Government Girls Middle School of Digiana Camp, Jammu.
“The event was part of Trust’s ongoing drive to promote gender equality and to motivate the girls from poor families to continue their studies.
The books and stationery was handed over to the Girls students by Aditi Sharma, President of the Trust, who is also a prominent social workers and women- child right activist along with her team.
AWICT also provide some furniture items and water cooler to school authorities.
She also suggested the students to opt good habits in life and study well to achieve desirous goal in life.
Others present were Leela Jamwal, H.S Channi, Sushil Dutt and T.S Slathia.
