Awareness under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation held at GCW, Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU: An awareness programme under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was organised at Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
College Ambassador for SVEEP, Prof. Surinder Sharma coordinated the programme which was started with the awareness address by Suram Chand Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development Jammu.
He briefly explained to the young students about the importance of their vote and motivated them to ensure their participation in the coming Assembly Election which is scheduled to be held on 20th December 2014.
Principal of the College, Dr. Kiran Bakshi also educated the students about the importance of right to vote and motivating others also regarding participating in the electoral process.
The programme was organised by District SVEEP team on behalf of District Election Officer Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu. The vote of thanks was presented by Vishal Sharma General Manager, DIC Jammu.
