JAMMU: Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu (AVMJ) has changed its nomenclature to General Category People’s Welfare Forum-Jammu (GCPWF-J)
In the meeting held here on Tuesday, President AVMJ, Raj Kumar Bamathia informed that a new body of GCPWF-Jammu was constituted unanimously in which Yash Paul Sharma and Som Nath Sharma were elected as President and General Secretary of the Forum respectively.
Others elected were Raj Kumar Banathia as Chairman; V.K Sharma and Bhushan Pargal as Vice Presidents and Ravi Sawhney and Deepak Khajuria as Secretaries.
Yash Paul Sharma assured that the new team will work selflessly for the abolition of political, social and economic discrimination being done with the General Category people since 1949.
