JAMMU: Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) on Friday said former Sadar-e-Reyasat Dr Karan Singh should be appointed to lead talks with all the sections of society including separatists to end Kashmir unrests.
In a press statement, JMF President Imran Qazi said that the government should ensure that the stake holders from cross society should be consulted and given opportunity to hold talks with the All Party Delegation.
“The talks should be focused to end Kashmir issue. This time Government of India should follow Vajpayee doctrine on Kashmir and hold talks with separatists. During Vajpayee, then GoI even held talks with Hizbul Muhajeedin then why shying away to talk directly to the separatist,” said Qazi.
In view of gravity of situation, he said, Dr Karan Singh is the best personality who should lead the delegation and hold talks with the people including separatists.
