Vijay Garg
Everyone wants people to listen to him when he speaks. Everyone wants to go on stage and speak into a mic. But the fear inside him keeps him dumb. Giving a speech is an art and Can be mastered.
Practicing the art of oratory requires practice. Not everyone needs to be a good orator. Sometimes the senses of the good are blown away by the sight of a crowd. He tried to address the gathering but he could not utter a single word. His tongue seemed to be locked. Making fun of someone is an innate tendency of human beings.
To make the opening part of the speech interesting and effective, use a word from an event, a rhyme, a proverb, related to the topic in your personal life, because by listening to the first ten lines, people begin to guess what the rest of the speech will be? It is important to sort out your ideas before addressing them. Sometimes ideas are very powerful but randomly present do not have a significant effect on the audience. Sometimes you do good to others with a sincere feeling You talk but due to lack of self-confidence people misinterpret the meaning of your words. Such speakers do not get the respect they deserve.
One thing is clear that at that time the speaker’s words or views touches the heart when those thoughts are expressed with full confidence. If nervousness is felt while giving voice to thoughts and ideas, then nervousness can be controlled by taking a deep breath. The effect of what you say with determination lasts for a long time. When speaking, pay special attention to the fact that the pronunciation of every word you say is correct and clear.
This means that if you want to speak for two minutes, then every word should be full of meaning. It is very important. The slogans raised loudly on the battlefield fill the Jawans with enthusiasm. Similarly, a successful speaker can inspire the audience with his ideas to speed-up their blood flow with enthusiasm. Whatever you have to say from the stage, speak with enthusiasm. When addressing from any stage, it is important that your facial expressions match the idea you are expressing. The attention of the audience can be drawn by making fluctuations in the sound in an artistic way like a stage performer.
If you are giving a talk in a large hall, keep your eyes on the people sitting in the last row, sometimes in the middle and sometimes on the people sitting in the front row. Conversely, if you are just staring at the walls, people will soon get bored of what you are saying. Use audience level vocabulary so that they can easily understand what you are saying. In the same way, people do not like stale information and ideas.
Therefore, it is very important for a good speaker to read newspapers, magazines, books, etc. to keep his information fresh. If a listener asks a question related to the topic, he should speak calmly. The answer should be satisfactory with the given logic. Keep your focus on the main topic, keeping in mind your own time and the time of others. Time should not exceed one hour.
The ideas expressed at the end of the speech have a profound effect. The beginning of the speech may be very impressive but if at the end the speaker suddenly ends his speech and leaves the stage, the audience feels as if they are watching an interesting movie. In case of sudden power outage, special attention should be paid to the last part of the speech as well.
