RAJOURI: A medical camp was organised at Kakora village, District Rajouri by the Rashtriya Rifles under Romeo Force on Sunday. Due to recent natural calamity large number of areas in District Rajouri were affected and were lacking medical facilities due to disrupted road connectivity. Many patients especially the elderly were unable to avail the medical facilities. Medical camp organised by the army has gone a long way in extending medical cover to the people of these remote areas at the time of need.
In all 350 patients were assisted with free medical checkup and medicines. A team of army doctors present at the camp also educated the patients regarding measures to be taken by them for prevention of diseases after the calamity.
