Army hands over 28 imposters to police; FIR registered

UDHAMPUR: In reaction to the demand of CBI probe in the alleged malpractice in recruitment of Labour Clerk and Firemen in Field Ammunition Depot at Kanyala, the Northern Command states that the recruitment was carried out on all India basis and the deserving candidates were selected based on their performance and merit. 28 imposters caught by the army authorities were handed over to local police and an FIR was lodged to this effect.
Regarding the allegations of not allowing construction activities, it is stated that within the notified area of 1000 yards from the perimeters of the depot, construction cannot be allowed. In this regard notification has been issued by the civil administration, stated a press note issued by Northern Command.
