RAJOURI/POONCH: The flood in the month of September caused devastation in the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, resulting in damage to property and life of the locals. Rashtriya Rifles Battalions, under Romeo Force distributed relief material to the locals badly affected by the flood on Wednesday.
Army distributed 500 tarpaulins, 120 utensils and 420 blankets thereby alleviating the suffering of locals to a large extent. The event was attended by large number of locals and representatives of civil administration who expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for providing the much needed assistance on the onset of winters.
