Army conducts medical, veterinary camp

RAMBAN: Army in its endeavour of reaching out to the poor and weaker section of society in Mohu Mangat bowl organised a medical and veterinary camp on Tuesday at Mori, Ramban.
The medical camp was organised under Op Sadbhavana, for the poor locals and their livestock. The aggrieved local health related challenge multiplies during winters, due to road closures. Accordingly, a team comprising of Army Medical officer, two NA and three BFNA carried out med check up of 410 locals and provided them with free medicines. The team was voluntarily assisted by PHC staff and locals in organising of the event.
Dr. Nazir Mukadami, AVO (Asst Veterinary Offr), carried out Medical Inspector of domestic animals. A total of 110 livestock’s were provided with medical assistance including free medicines.
This humanitarian approach of IA was appreciated all and the locals expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Indian Army.
