JAMMU: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) on Friday castigated the state government for ignoring KP Hindu employees who are on a Dharna for the past 20 days refusing to return to Kashmir Valley where their residential camps were attacked extensively and selectively.
Addressing a joint press conference, the KP leadership under the ambit of APMCC came down heavily on the attitude of the state government for shedding tears favouring stone-pelters and leaving no opportunity to rehabilitate those who work against India but do not spare even a junior officer to enquire why pro-India employees were agitating for the over 20 days at Jammu. The leaders said that PDP-BJP Government has let down the Hindu community by not addressing their problems and instead activating its own administration to spread lies about the community.
They sought immediate FIR against DIG South Kashmir, SSP Kupwara and SSP Baramulla and their suspension for their communal bent of mind and contradicting the statement of ADG (CID) about the attacks on minority camps and asked the government to come out with a statement over this contradiction.
Pandits extended their full support to the employees saying they should be shifted to Jammu adding no Hindu employee will return to Valley unless and until the government comes out
with a comprehensive return plan for entire Pandit community which includes guarantee of their safety, security, dignity
and honour adding the agitation will intensify in the coming days and some extreme steps can be taken if their demands are not met. Seeking immediate constitution of a high-level official committee to talk to agitating employees KP leadership said that they will not allow the government to use the Hindu employees as scapegoats for its failed rehabilitation attempt.
