JAMMU: Railway Magistrate Jammu Sandeep Gandotra on Friday awarded two years imprisonment and fine Rs 2,000 to Vinod Bali who was facing trial under section 304-A RPC.
According to the police case that on 19th July, 2009, information was received by Police Station Gandhi Nagar Jammu that an accident had occurred between a car and scooter near convent crossing and due this accident one Pritam Kour died. Police registered a case under section 279/337/304-A RPC and after completion of investigation Challan was presented.
Railway Magistrate Jammu Sandeep Gandotra after hearing Prosecuting Officer Yogesh Nagpal appearing for the state observed that the prosecution has proved its case beyond shadow of doubt and awarded two years imprisonment and fine Rs 2000/- under section 304-A RPC. JNF
