JAMMU: Jagmeet Singh, a player of Sham Lal Hockey Club Poonch excelled while representing Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Sports University Patiala in Punjab in North Zone Inter-Varsity Hockey Tournament.
He emerged as top scorer of Pool C scoring 12 goals in four matches and helped his to qualify for the All India Inter- Varsity Hockey Championship. Jagmeet scored two goals against Uttarakhand University and three against University of Kashmir. Other three goals he scored for HPU Shimla University and four against Nainital University thus brought laurels to his home district of Poonch and Club, Sham Lal Hockey Club.
