JAMMU: Panun Kashmir expressed surprise over the remarks of former Chief Minister and NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah favouring talks between Pakistan and India for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
President Panun Kashmir V.K Bhat advised former Chief Minister from restraining himself from such mischievous statements which are misleading. The party also slammed the opposition including Congress and CPI (M) for favouring talks with Pakistan at a critical juncture when our security forces are giving a befitting reply to them. Bhat said that these pseudo-secular and pseudo-nationalists always act contrary to the decision taken by Central Government.
“It seems that these leaders are coming to the rescue of Pakistan as they fear that the strikes may damage and demolish the terrorist camps in PoK”, said the Convener of the party Ravinder Jalali. Had he (Abdullah) been serious in reducing the tension on the borders he should have appreciated the strikes and should have sought more to end the menace of terrorism, he added. The meeting ended with a word of appreciation and compliment for the Army and the Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
