KPS flays Mustafa for remark on NC saving KPs in ’47

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) on Sunday flayed senior NC leader Mustafa Kamal for his remark that party’s founder Shiekh Mohammad Abdullah saved Kashmiri Pandits during 1947.
The KPS in a handout issued here said in 1947 there was no communal hatred among various communities living in Kashmir and people lived in harmony. “In fact Kashmiri Pandits played vital role in establishing the National Conference led by Shiekh Abdullah, after he deserted Muslim League”, they further said adding that KPs fully supported the NC.
The KPS handout said that unlike his father Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Mustafa’s attitude is communal since his political statements are mostly communal and vague, which bring disrepute to National Conference to which Maharaj Hari Singh had handed over power on the reconnection of Jawahar Lal Nehru.
