J&K Sports Council expresses grief over demise of DGP HK Lohia

JAMMU: The J&K Sports Council has expressed grief over the sad demise of DGP H K Lohia. Secretary Sports Council Nuzhat Gull in a condolence message to bereaved family of Lohia said , ‘ HK Lohia was not only a accomplished police officer and a good human being but he also contributed immensely towards promotion of sports in J&K especially the game of wushu.I on behalf of the J&K Sports Council express our deep condolences to the bereaved family of HK Lohia. His untimely and sad demise is a big loss for the sporting fraternity,” Gull added. It is pertinent to mention here that HK Lohia remained President of the J&K Wushu Association for two terms and played a pioneering role in developing the game of Wushu in J&K.
Ranjeet Kalra, Member J&K Sports Council and Vice President J&K Wushu Association, Dronacharya awardee Kuldeep Handoo and Sh Vijay Saraf President J&K Wushu Association have also condoled the sad demise of HK Lohia.
