Rollball game is being played across the globe with more than 50 countries with participating in different International Tournaments being held at different countries. International Rollball Federation has organized 06 World Cups, 03 Asian Championship and 02 South Asian Championship. While Rollball Federation of India has organized 19 Senior Men and Women Championship and 02 Federation Cup beside holding various championship at Junior and Sub-Junior level.
J&K is participating in Rollball by sending its team to almost every competition for last 17 years and players are bringing laurels to the State by winning medals.
During these years many players from J&K was selected and had represented India at International Level and won medals for their country.
J&K Rollball is recognized by J&K State Sports Council, Department of Youth Services and Sports, University of Jammu & Kashmir and J&K Olympic Association as well.
Rollball players are conferred with J&K Sports Council most prestigious State Award(2018-19), Sher-e-Kashmir Award (2019) and National Child Award (2009) for their excellence in sports.
Besides these achievement at national and international levels and reorganization by all the major sports (Rollball) bodies of the state and country. Recently the game was included in the list of games which will be organized in the 37th National Game being held at Goa. The game is yet to be brought under the ambit of SO 12 of 2022 i.e appointment of meritorious sportspersons according to their qualification and sports merits.
