Implementation of One Rank One Pension

All the ex-servicemen who are getting Indian Military Pension thank and heartly welcome the much awaited decision regarding approval of One Rank One Pension implemented wef 1st April 2014, for which Rs 1,500-crore are allotted as budget allocation. Funds required for settlement of emotional issue once for all to pay uniform pension is likely to be much more than expected.
However, despite a lapse of six months since formula for OROP was accepted neither any sort of motification nor revised pension table showing enhanced pension according to rank and length of service has been issued so far for which Approx 14 lakh pensioners/family pensioners disabled/war widows are awaiting. Defence/Finance Minister is requested to issue implementation orders to the disbursing offices to make the payment as promised.
We also appeal if funds already allotted fall inadequate, sufficient reqired amount be provided to meet the expenditure.
